Curious about printmaking? This two session class is the perfect opportunity to emmerse yourself in the process of relief printmaking. During our first class, we will be discussing the do’s and don’t of linocut carving and image making. On the second class, we’ll explore different techniques used for registering more than one block on the same print and creating an edition of identical prints. We’ll investigate the properties of different inks, and how to use colour effectively by making use of ink transparencies and colour mixing.

Whether you’re trying linocut for the first time, or if you’re looking to develop and hone your printing skills, this is the perfect class for you!
