Electric Kistka
Electric kistky are becoming increasingly popular for decorating Ukrainian Easter Eggs. The constant heat allows you to make more precise wax lines with ease, and no candle is required to heat the wax. Once you use an electric kistka you will be spoiled for life! This single-tip electric kistka features a cork handle that gives you a cool grip. Additionally, it allows you to exchange different tips while you are decorating. Just take out the original tip, pop in the different tip size you want (available separately), and you’re all set! This single tip kistka comes with a medium tip as well as instructions. We recommend getting a WONS (cleaning wire) for easy removal of any dust or wax plugs that may occur.

More than 2000 years ago, eggs were decorated by people who believed that an egg embodied special powers. Eggs symbolized the release of the earth from winter and the promise of new hope, life and prosperity of spring. After Christ, Easter eggs began to symbolize the Resurrection and the promise of eternal life. Legend says that as long as pysanky are decorated, good will win over evil.
