Whether your a little seedling when it comes to watercolours, or have grown some and want to branch out, this class is for you.
Explore watercolour techniques that will keep your botanicals fresh and lively. Then go and paint all the lovely things in the garden you’ve been growing all summer.
Some drawing experience/ability is recommended
About the Instructor:
Cam Wilson is an artist in Edmonton who practices primarily in Watercolour. Cam is a member of the Canadian Federation of Artists National and Edmonton Chapters as well as the International Watercolour Society. Cam comes from a career in design and illustration and previously taught at Grant MacEwen before dedicating his time to painting watercolours.

The Paint Spot will provide, palettes, water containers, masking tape, and mounting board. Students are encouraged to bring their own watercolour brushes and paints. The instructor will guide students on how to use them appropriately.
Please Bring:
1. Brushes: #6 pointed round, #3 synthetic pointed
2. Watercolour sketch pad smooth/or semi-smooth approx 12 x 9
3. Arches hot press 140lb pad or block approx 12 x 9
4. Watercolours: red, yellow, blue, paynes grey, burnt sienna
5. Small towel/dish towel, pencil, kneaded eraser
6. Suitable art clothes, white paper towel, notebook, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of the class!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
