Experimental Collage Workshop

Looking for an afternoon of generative image making? Let your creative side take over while instructor Colleen Ulliac demonstrates an intuitive approach to collage making.
Participants will explore a variety of experimental collage techniques to enhance composition skills and create more dynamic and expressive collages. Participants will practice intuitive engagement in the creative process without concern for the final product to facilitate authentic experimentation.
Relax, unwind, and leave the class with your own suite of finished collages, professionally mounted onto matboard.
About the Instructor:
Colleen Ulliac lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta. She holds a Fine Arts Diploma and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, both from MacEwan University. She works in a variety of mediums with a focus on drawing, painting, collage, and site-specific art. She is most interested in exposing the creative process, art as therapy, and exploring strategies for collaboration.

The Paint Spot will supply: Heavy weight paper, some scissors, glue, acrylic gel and some magazines.
You bring:
1. A pair of scissor or exacto knife and small cutting mat (some will be provided)
2. Magazines and collage materials (some will be provided)
3. Suitable art clothes, hand towel, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of the class!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
