Beginners Welcome!
Do you want to learn how to paint two textures in one class – glass and colour pencils? In this class, learn how to paint with precision – how to paint straight lines and pointed tips, and how to preserve the white of the paper using a small round and a dagger brush.
The instructor will guide you step-by-step on how to paint details using different pigment colours and how to paint blurred edges using wet-on-wet technique.
About the Instructor:
Francis Marte is a realistic watercolourist with years of professional experience. He has participated in various exhibits and has been featured in international watercolour publications. Francis possesses a strong sense of artistry, consistently displayed in all his art pieces. He is a well regarded watercolour instructor for emerging watercolourists.

Most supplies are included in the supply fee.
Instructor will provide watercolour paint, masking fluid, and photo reference.
The Paint Spot will provide watercolour paper (Arches 300lb cold press), watercolour brushes, 2 palettes, kneadable eraser, masking tape, mounting board.
Please Bring:
1. 1 Callia by Willow Wolfe dagger brush, ¼ size (medium size)
2. Handful of kitchen paper towels, ballpoint pen, 2 containers for water
3. Suitable art clothes, hand towel, notebook, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)

Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
