These empty metal boxes boast twin mixing palettes and lift out trays which will hold full or half pans of watercolour. The tray may be removed to allow cleaning of the inside of the box. Rosa Art Empty Tins for Watercolour Pans are perfect for creating your own watercolor set. You can fill your box with pre-filled pans, or use empty pans to fill with traditional tube colors. These boxes feature a metal thumb ring on the bottom, for easy hand-held use. Both the inside of the lid, and the fold out tray may be used as mixing areas. If you lift the paint tray out, the bottom of the box may also be used for color mixing.

Convenient for travel, plein air painting, or use in the studio or classroom.

• Compact Box for 12 Full pans. Color: Turquoise. Will hold 12 Full pans (or 24 half pans) of watercolour. This box features 3 rows for paint pans, unlike most boxes this size, which only have 2 rows with a space in the middle. The lid is divided into 3 mixing areas. The approximate size of the box is: 5″ x 2.75″ x 7/8″.
• Empty Box for 21 Full pans. Color: Indigo (Dark Blue). This box will hold about 21 full pans (or approx. 42 half pans). This box features 3 rows for paint pans, unlike most boxes this size, which only have 2 rows with a space in the middle. The lid has 5 divided mixing areas. The approximate size of the box is: 8.5″ x 2.75″ x 7/8″.
• Empty Box for 28 Full pans. Color: Indigo (Dark Blue). This box will hold approx. 28 full pans (or about 56 half pans). This box features 4 rows for paint pans, with a space in the middle which could hold a small brush or pencil. The lid has 4 divided mixing areas. The approximate size of this box is: 8.75″ x 4.5″ x 7/8″.
