Learn to paint using acrylics, from a place of intention where the final painting is the inevitable outcome of an energy giving process. Paint layer by juicy layer, supported each step of the way with loads of yummy painting techniques. All supplies are included, and all experience levels are welcome!
Create in community and share your experience with one another with guided instruction from a Intentional Creativity teacher, Deanna Miller who will demonstrate how artmaking can be used as a practice of mindfulness.

About the Instructor:
Hi! I am Deanna Miller, your creativity educator and advocate with over 20 years of experience guiding youth and adults in an exploration of SELF. I believe the physical act of painting, while asking questions, can bring forth gifts of healing, insight, and joy. Come paint in community while I guide you with yummy painting techniques as you practice listening to your own internal voice. Discover the ease that comes from using your creative side to answer questions and make art. Join me in a safe and supportive environment as you explore YOU through art! I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into our community!

Paint Spot will supply: Acrylic paint, medium, canvas, brushes, spray bottle, water containers
Instructor will supply: brushes, pens, and palettes
You bring:
- Any other brushes or art supplies you would like to use. Suitable art clothes, hand towel, notebook, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of the class!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
