Silk Scarf Painting Workshop WITH ANASTASIA MACHINSKI

hat to learn all about painting on silk and walk away with oyur very own scarf? Learn to paint a silk scarf from start to finish! In this 1-day class, Anastasia will guide you through the painting process and how to apply water based resist. At the end of your class, you will go home with your very own stunning creation – a beautifully painted, personalized silk scarf!
Fun fact: it makes a perfect, cherished gift to give to a special someone. Especially with the holidays just around the corner!
About the Instructor:
Anastasia has a flair for silk painting. She has been painting on fabrics for more than 15 years. She has classes on the subject on online platforms like Skillshare and YouTube. Art has always been a huge part of her life and a couple of years ago she decided to dive in, be the artist she always wanted to be, and share it with you. She is very excited to be teaching art to you next!

The Paint Spot will supply: Habotai Silk Scarves, Pebeo Setasilk Fabric Paints (pink, blue, yellow, & green), 0.9mm Metal Applicator Tip, 1/2oz Jacquard Applicator Bottle, Jacquard Water Based Resist, Table Salt
Instructor will supply: premade frames for stretching silk scarf on
You Bring:
- Watercolour brushes (small and large)
- If the student has a design in mind – bring your own Pebeo Setasilk Fabric Paints or Jacquard Dye-na-Flow paints. We will provide pink, blue, yellow, and green Setasilk paints. Please note: Setasilk and Dye-na-Flow will not mix/work together.
- Reference image you may want to use
- Suitable art clothes, notebook, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, gloves, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of the class!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
