Holiday Painting: Baby Rudolf – Exploring Acrylics WITH SHELLY BANKS

Any Skill Level – Youth or Adult
Come and get into the festive spirit by painting Rudolf in his youth! No experience necessary for this one day class, all materials are included, so just bring yourself! Shelly will take you step-by-step from gridding your canvas, mixing and blending colours to the final touches to create this cute addition to any home decor.
This is a great workshop for families and friends looking for a relaxing afternoon to cozy up practice those painting skills!
About the Instructor:
Shelly is an award-winning coloured-pencil artist who also enjoys teaching indigo dyeing, acrylic, glass painting and how to make beeswax wraps. She loves exploring a wide range of mediums. Her current passion is oil painting as it creates so much luminosity and vibrancy. She has taught for The Paint Spot for over 6 years now – she loves it!

Most Supplies will be provided by the Paint Spot: Acrylic paints, palette paper, and 12×12” canvas
Supply List:
1. Brushes: flat or bright 3/4” or size 16, filbert 1/2” or size 4 or 6, liner brush size 0 or 1
2. (Optional) Handy Palette by StaWet (if you wish to take on paint to keep working)
3. 12” ruler and HB pencil or light grey pastel pencil
4. Suitable art clothes, notebook (optional), snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)
You will receive a 20% discount on all art supplies from your registration until the end of the class!
Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
