Beginners Welcome!
In this class, you learn how to paint with fascinating Schmincke HORADAM Aquarell Super Granulation paints. With these beautiful watercolours, Schmincke is expanding the possibilities of granulating watercolour painting to include unusual colors with a super-granulating appearance, which are perfect for painting rocks.
The instructor will guide you step-by-step on how to do underpaintings, and then how to drop granulating paints using wet-on-wet. You will be amazed on how the paint almost paints itself!
You will use a reference photo and only a little drawing skills is necessary. The instructor will guide you with demos and useful critiques so you can continue to paint similar florals on your own, using your own reference photos.
About the Instructor:
Francis Marte is a realistic watercolourist with years of professional experience. He has participated in various exhibits and has been featured in international watercolour publications. Francis possesses a strong sense of artistry, consistently displayed in all his art pieces. He is a well regarded watercolour instructor for emerging watercolourists.

Most supplies are included in the supply fee.
Instructor will provide watercolour paint, masking fluid, and photo reference.
The Paint Spot will provide watercolour paper (Arches 300lb cold press), watercolour brushes, 2 palettes, kneadable eraser, masking tape, mounting board.
Please Bring:
1. Handful of kitchen paper towels, ballpoint pen, 2 containers for water
2. Suitable art clothes, hand towel, notebook, snack, drink, and your own PPE (mask, hand sanitizer)

Artelier is located at 10045 81 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta (back alley entrance). The workshop space is one block south of The Paint Spot.
