Schmincke Akademie watercolour sets, containing half or whole pans of brilliant watercolour, are presented in a metal box with fold-out palette.
The 24 colours of the AKADEMIE Aquarell watercolour line are a complete basic assortment for beginners. 16 single pigment colors, as well as high pigment concentration guarantee highest brilliance, light-fastness and clean colour mixing. The sets are well suited for the beginner and hobby artists. They do not carry Cadmiums. The paint flow is always under control and the paint is fully reusable when dried on a palette. The colour rewets smoothly and lifts easily from the pans. There is no scrubbing needed to get rich colour. You will save wear and tear on brushes by using these quality paints.
These sets are a perennial ‘Staff-Pick’, a favorite for teachers and highly recommended for travel and plein air.

The 12 colour sets come in three styles: ½ pans in a full sized metal box, ½ pans in a compact metal box, or 12 full pans in a full sized metal box. (see pictures below)
