The Paint Spot, Naess Gallery and Artelier Studios is pleased to present new work by
Artelier students.
Artists who took part in “Professional Practices: Flowers!” were given the opportunity to create art
works from start (research and creation) to finish (exhibition). There was a wide range of attendees,
including long time painters and beginners who wanted to start making!
As a starting point, each student was given the opportunity make a work of art that responded to
the existing work of a local or historical artist: Piet Mondrian, Andrew Salgado, Alex Katz, Lee
Herring, and David Hockney, among others! The outcome is a wholly original and thoughtful
exhibition with a focus on still life and landscape.
Join us this Thursday, May 9th, from 6-9 for the opening reception of Flowers! The artists will be in attendance
