Stoneground Paint Co. Gouache
Stoneground gouache is a water-based paint that dries to an opaque, matte finish. These gouache paints are easily mixed with one another and can also be used together with Stoneground watercolour paint. This vivid lime green is a great addition to any palette. One of our custom colours, Summer Pear is great on black or coloured paper, and is useful in a variety of subject matter including landscapes, still life, botanical, and illustration work.
Artists Notes: This is a custom colour is created out of the two pigments we love most for mixing a bright, intense green. Hansa Yellow, and Cobalt Aquamarine.
Paint Makers Notes: Summer Pear is a combination of Hansa Yellow (PY 74), Cobalt Aquamarine (PB 36), and Titanium White (Pw 6)

Modern Colours
Stoneground defines modern colours as those developed and discovered after 1704. This was when the accidental discovery of Prussian Blue occurred. The colours Stoneground classifies as such, contain organic and inorganic pigments and are typically characterized by their intense and bright appearance.
