Description
Significantly darker than Ultramarine Violet or Cobalt Violet, Dioxazine Purple is a slightly grey violet, perfect for rendering shadows. A versatile choice for the purple in an artist’s palette, Dioxazine Purple is a dark valued, dull violet. A little bit of this colour goes a long way, and is so dark in heavy applications that it can be used as a substitute for black.
