Contemporary Mayan pigments are made in the tradition of the Mayan civilization of the Americas. Made by precipitating organic dyes onto a clay base, these hybrid pigments are non-toxic, lightfast, and permanent. Stoneground Mayan Royal Blue mixes well with others, or can be used full strength on its own. Useful in a variety of applications, this unique colour is an invaluable addition to any artist’s palette.
