Woodzilla A3 size hand lino press (11.75″x16.5″ – wide base)
This Woodzilla A3 Wide format Lino press is affordable but still has the quality and printing results you expect from a Woodzilla press. A heavy duty, hand operated lino press, with 18 mm press plates. This wide based printing press is suitable for sizes up to A3 and US tabloid/ ledger size type lino cuts, but can also be used for flower pressing, woodcut printing, paper stamping, etc.
This custom size press is based on the original A3 press, but has a wider frame with enlarged lower plate (up to 14 cm extra, 7 cm on both sides) to allow for easier fabric printing. Excess fabric can be placed at the sides.
These brilliantly designed Woodzilla presses are handmade in the Netherlands and come in a range of sizes to suit any relief printer’s process, no matter the format. Woodzilla presses feature a vibrant range of colors offered in an expert finish. This is a brilliant piece of equipment for any printmaker in need of a larger press than regular A4 presses. The Woodzilla’s steel frame is fully welded and has a lovely powder coating finish, which is very durable and easy to clean. A heavy duty hand operated lino press, with 36 mm press plates. The press can be mounted to a table or workbench. Anti-skid shoes under the frame prevent scratches in your work table and prevent skidding. A felt press blanket is delivered loose with the press, and can be glued on the top plate
The pressing plates have a 3 layer PU-lacquer semi gloss finish. When working with thicker lino material, the upper plate may be raised by means of the 2 wing-screws.
Due to the unique design of the press, you can apply force without risk of tipping over the press. During pressing, this lino press is very stable. When not in use, simply place your Woodzilla press upright so it will take up less space in your workshop!
