These Yasutomo Japanese Art Papers are made in the traditional paper districts of Japan. All sheets feature one smooth side and one slightly rough side. Create on the smooth side for the best results.
This pulp-based Torinoko paper is sturdy and resilient with each sheet lightly sized to capture the fine details in artwork. Torinoko sheets are perfect for ink painting, watercolor, Suminagashi (Japanese marbling), calligraphy and block printing. The surface of Torinoko holds up to watercolor washes with minimal wrinkling.
