These Yasutomo Japanese Art Papers are made in the traditional paper districts of Japan. All sheets feature one smooth side and one slightly rough side. Create on the smooth side for the best results. This high quality Japanese paper is lightly sized for Suiboku-ga (sumi painting), watercolor and calligraphy.
This pulp-based Gasen paper is sturdy and resilient. Each sheet lightly sized to capture the fine details in artwork. Gasen sheets are perfect for ink painting, watercolor, Suminagashi (Japanese marbling), calligraphy and block printing.
