Grafix Opaque White Craft Plastic Film
Use Grafix’s expanded the line of Craft Plastic to create 3D elements, embellishments, stencils and as a mixed media surface that will coordinate with any artistic project. This product line now has a variety of finishes and thicknesses for a range of applications.
NEW Grafix Opaque White Craft Plastic is a 0.010” film that is strong, smooth, waterproof surface, wipeable, heat resistant, and fun to use; available in White and Black. These films can be used with a wide range of mediums and techniques White works best with watercolor and alcohol inks. The Black film works best with metallic and iridescent colors.
What sealants or coatings can be used with Craft Plastic Film?
- Misting a light layer of workable fixative, add 3 layers of Krylon Kamar varnish, then final 2 layers of Krylon UV protectant.

Can you sew on Craft Plastic or Dura-Bright Film?
All – Yes, you can stitch with a regular sewing machine and a regular needle. (Except 020” Clear)
What can you use to cut this Film?
All – scissors, craft scissors, punches (not the .020” clear), X-acto knife, and die-cut machines – manual or electronic
Can you use a heating tool on the Craft Plastic or Dura-Bright Film?
- Opaque White – Yes, they are heat tolerant.
- Opaque Black – Yes, but not too close, too hot, or too long.
All films can be moldable with heat.
