Masterson Sta-Wet Aqua Pro Watercolour Palette
The Masterson Aqua-Pro Watercolor Palette with lid has all the features watercolour artists demand – including a perimeter of 32 colour wells to hold a whole range of colour and 3 large center mixing areas to keep color ranges separate. The lid keeps watercolors clean between painting sessions and can be used as an additional, larger mixing area. This large palette measures an impressive 16″ Long x 12″ wide x 1-3/4″ tall.
This palette can also be used with Acrylic Ink, Fluid Acrylics and High Flow Acrylics. The wells are just deep enough to keep the liquid paints separated. Masterson Sta-Wet Palettes are made from the highest quality injection molded plastic resin and are stain resistant.
Yes, you can afford a full range of colours. Here’s a great tip for filling this large palette with colour. Partner with 2 other artists to share a 15 ml tube of each colour. Schmincke and Holbein are artist quality watercolours available in large tubes. Both brands will re-wet easily.
Dispense 1/3 of each tube onto each palette and let dry. 5 ml will generously fill each well with colour. It is even more affordable if you take inventory of your colours before shopping and share what you have first.
