Palette knives are ideal for moving paint, sculpting gels as well as mixing colours. Using them will save wear and tear on your paint brushes. A set of durable molded plastic knives is an affordable choice for all artists. A safe alternative to metal knives, these knives are non-staining and easy to clean. Also, the bent or off-set handles are designed to keep your fingers out of the paint on your palette. Plastic is durable and best suited for acrylic painting. They can be used for oil painting, but generally we recommend the metal palette knives for oil.
