This is an all natural, flat wash camel hair brush affordable for you to experiment with watercolours techniques. There are no camels harmed in the making of this brush. Camel hair generally means left-over pony and/or squirrel hair.
We also recommend this affordable brush for Gold Size application in Gold Leafing. The natural hair will stand up to the solvents better than a synthetic brush. Plus, the hairs are soft enough to leave very little brush marks in the gold leaf adhesive.
