Create exciting Textures! This all purpose, natural sea sponge works well with all painting media and is especially useful for watercolor artists. A Sea Sponge can be used for faux finishing techniques, stippling and staining on a variety of surfaces. Ideal for watercolour, fabric painting, and mixed media, as well as ceramics. A sponge is a versatile tool that can smooth, absorb and create texture on many surfaces, including walls. Whether you are painting, scrapbooking, working with textiles or ceramics, a sturdy sponge has many uses.
Because these sponges are natural, each one is unique. They are generally the indicated size, but may differ slightly from the image shown.

Instructions for Faux Finishing:
- Apply a base coat to the wall and allow to dry.
- Dampen the sponge with water and wring it out.
- Dip the sponge in the desired paint color and dab it on the wall in a random pattern.
Tips: To ensure an even pattern, work in sections of no more than 6 feet at a time. Dab on paint with the sponge in a random open pattern. Slowly dab the more open areas until the desired density is achieved.
