Golden Color Pouring Medium – Gloss
Mix Heavy Body, Fluid, or High Flow Acrylics into Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss for an almost opaque, glossy and level appearance. This self-leveling pouring medium is a great choice for acrylic pouring, as well as a self levelling top coat for acrylic paintings. You may use this product on it’s own or mixed with your favorite acrylic paint or acrylic ink.
Note: This new product is essentially the same as the original Golden GAC 800 Polymer Medium, which may also be used as a pouring medium.
How to use:
Gently mix 10 parts of Golden Color Pouring Medium with 1 part acrylic color. Allow the mixture to sit covered (ideally overnight) to eliminate dust and air bubbles. To reduce air bubbles, pour close to the surface.
Paintings may need to dry for a few days before moving. Tenting is recommended to prevent dust and other particles from falling on the wet surface. Do not pour the medium thicker than 1/8” (3 mm) or attempt to accelerate drying.
