Stoneground India Red Watercolour
Indian Red pigments are an extremely old, versatile, and widespread family of permanent red earth pigments. Stoneground’s India Red is comprised of iron oxide and hematite, which combine to produce a beautiful, earthy, red-violet colour. India Red is useful in landscapes, portraits, botanicals, and wildlife paintings.
Artist Notes: Combine India Red with Raw Umber to create neutrals with depth and interest. Combine with any blue to create interesting greys and arresting bi-chromatic works.
