This unprimed 10 oz duck canvas is 36″ (3 feet) wide. Sold by the foot, or on the roll.
Single fill duck canvas differs from numbered duck canvas in that there is only 1 yarn in the weft. Numbered duck canvases will have 2 yarns making them stiffer & stronger.
Cotton duck
(from Dutch: doek, “linen canvas”), also simply duck, sometimes duck cloth or duck canvas, is a heavy, plain woven cotton fabric. Duck canvas is often preferred because it is more tightly woven than plain canvas. Cotton duck canvas is very versatile and is used in a wide range of applications, from sneakers to painting canvases, tents and sandbags. It is great for stretching and priming your own artist canvases.
