Horadam Super Granulation Haze Trio Set
New Schmincke HORADAM Aquarell Super Granulation Haze colors are now available in a set of 3 for a limited time. This set includes 5 ml tubes of Haze Pink, Haze Indigo and Haze Brown.
With these new watercolor paints, Schmincke is expanding the possibilities of granulating watercolor painting to include unusual colors with a super-granulating appearance. The combination of at least 2 granulating Horadam pigments intensifies the granulating effect, in which pigments mass together in places on the paper, forming “super-granulation”.
The new colors are formulated with pigments from different colour ranges, so that the granulation effect results in additional colour changes. For example, Deep Sea Indigo is a combination of violet and green pigment, while Glacier Brown contains a brown and a green pigment. This novel, natural structure formation of the colors varies depending on the substrate and the amount of water used. The rougher the paper, the stronger the granulation effect.
