Description
Daniel Smith Masking Fluid with 5 Applicator tips
Daniel Smith Masking Fluid is easy to use with the 1oz applicator and 5 fine-point applicator tips or an inexpensive brush. Masking Fluid makes a barrier to protect watercolor paper and preserve white areas. It blocks watercolor washes from flowing into areas you don’t want, leaving crisp, clean edges.
This Masking Fluid goes on off-white and dries to a transparent caramel color. This allows you to see it while working, yet still be unobtrusive while painting.
This masking fluid is easy to remove once dry, with a rubber cement pick-up or even with clean, oil free fingers. Be careful about leaving oils from fingers when rubbing off dried Masking Fluid. Oils from your fingers can interfere with new applications of watercolor.
Once the Masking Fluid has been removed, keep white areas, or add color to the preserved white area.
