Lacquered Yuzen Camelia Red
This beautiful red and black Lacquered Yuzen paper features a bold floral motif and mimics traditional carved two-colour lacquer ware. Silkscreen printed by hand, the heavy-wearing surface makes it ideal for covering books, boxes, or portfolios. This decorative washi is slightly thicker than the similar Chiyogami washi.
Lacquered Yuzen is hand-silkscreened with one layer of black and a single colour to simulate Japanese lacquerware. Red and black are traditional. Strong and flexible with a distinctive raised texture, these papers are ideal for bookbinding and box-making. They are even tough enough to be made into coasters! Yuzen is an ideal choice for bookbinding, covering boxes, desk accessories, or portfolios.
