Chiyogami Hexagon Pattern
This hexagonal chiyogami pattern is the winner of the Japanese Paper Place’s first CHIYOGAMI DESIGN COMPETITION! Designed in Canada by Lauren Mead and EXCLUSIVE to The JPP. These luscious, vibrantly colored Chiyogami papers are hand-printed in Japan using the silk-screen technique. In this laborious process, each colour is applied using a separate screen. Sometimes as many as 12 colours, including gold or other metallic colors, may be used to create a single pattern.
