Description
669 Vandyke Brown is a greenish alternative to sepia brown. Used since the 17th century, it was originally extracted from finely separated coal known as elutriated lignite. However, the traditional colour was too unpredictable so Vandyke Brown is now made from a mixture of more stable pigments.
