Description
Faber Castell Pitt pastel pencils contain a high level of pigment, but are wax and oil free, and are perfectly suited for fine details in pastels. They feature buttery smooth color lay-down, with excellent color opacity. Each pencil contains quality pigments for unsurpassed lightfastness. They can be blended for layered effects, highlights and transitions. SV bonding strengthens the leads to prevent breakage, providing sharp fine lines and excellent point retention. They can be wiped like ordinary pastels, and are ideal for mixed media. Only minimal fixing is required, so pastel drawings retain their vividness of colour.
