Nobel Arts Loop Tool For Clay
This tool features a steel loop set in a thick, tapered, short wooden handle. Use it to trim or refine clay shapes and control wall thickness on greenware. Clay loop tools are usually used for removing clay from hand-built or wheel-thrown clay and ceramics. This is a great tool for trimming, hollowing out clay, mark making, cutting, and more.
This tool features a large loop, whereas you may use smaller, often double-ended, ribbon tools for more detailed work. Pottery Loops are also great for scraping work in encaustic painting.
