Description
Grafix Wet Media Dura-Lar .004” film is specially coated on both sides to accept water-based mediums, markers, and inks without beading, chipping or running. Duralar Wet Media pads are great for planning painting compositions, as a painting surface as well as printmaking. Simply wipe with a damp cloth for repeated use.
Dura-Lar is more economical, yet more dimensionally stable than wet media acetate. It is generally more flexible and less brittle than acetate, but otherwise has very similar characteristics. It is for use with inks, watercolors, acrylics, and more for dynamic paintings and mixed media explorations. The surface is reusable and can be washed gently with mild soap.
Grafix Dura-Lar is the Acetate alternative. This polyester film combines the best features of Mylar and Acetate to provide a highly versatile film.
