Butcher Tray Palettes
Bring a long-time classic back into your studio. Inter-generational watercolorists might remember the common use of a butcher tray as a palette. This retro-style, butcher tray palette is durable, easy to clean and great as both a palette and supplies holder. Small chips on the rim may be present but are purely a cosmetic blemish. The slightly bowed surface is ideal for oil, acrylic, gouache or a dry brushwork technique with watercolor.
These coated metal trays have a convex center so water will run to the edge. The surface is stain resistant. Long Lasting. Metal construction. They are available in three sizes.
Butcher Tray Sizes:
Small – 7-1⁄2″ x 11″Medium – 11″ x 15″Large – 13″ x 17″
Customer notes:
The porcelain coating may occasionally chip on the rim, but this will not affect the working surface for colour mixing.
