This fettling knife is a useful tool for potters, ceramicists, students and beginners. Sharp enough to trim leather hard clay but dull enough to safely use in the classroom, this multi-purpose knife is ideal for carving and sculpting clay or trimming pour hole waste and removing mold marks on mold-made forms. This blade is “hard,” giving it a firm, spring-like feel.
