Kuretake Zig Historic Art Watercolor Marker Sets
These Zig Historic Art Watercolor marker “paint by number” kits encourage artists to use three painting materials and a small selection of colors to create beautiful works of art.
The Vincent Van Gogh Set is designed based on the style and colors of Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Cafe Terrace at Night’. Set includes one each of ZIG Art & Graphic Twin markers: Peacock blue, Persian blue, Deep green, lemon yellow, light brown as well as natural gray. One ZIG Watercolor BrusH2O Medium, as well as five sheets of paper. Two of which include an outline template of the original ‘Cafe Terrace at Night’ to color. The ZIG Art & Graphic Twin markers are dual tip, fitted with one flexible, brush nib and a smaller, bullet nib. They are also water soluble and are best blended with water to create watercolor effects.
The Gustav Klimt Set is designed based on the style and color scheme of Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Kiss’. Includes Gansai Tambi watercolor pans: Peacock blue, Persian blue, Deep green, lemon yellow, light brown and natural gray. One ZIG Watercolor BrusH2O Medium, a plastic palette for mixing colors as well as five sheets of paper. Two of which include an outline template of the ‘The Kiss’ to color. Gansai Tambi watercolor is rich and opaque and can be used as a gouache or as a watercolor when diluted. Transparency of the watercolor depends on the amount of water used to dilute, and colors can be layered easily.
