Chartpak AD Marker Blenders
The Chartpak AD® Marker blender has a wide range of uses. Also known as the Transfer Marker, the Chartpak AD Blender marker is a colorless blender marker that will transfer photocopied or laser-printed images. See the demo video below for some tips.
Transfer images are permanent and can be worked over with all types of media including markers, pencils and paints. Always use Original AD Markers and Blender Markers in a well-ventilated area.
The AD® Marker blender has a wide range of uses. It renders beautifully blended strokes with colored AD® Markers, creates gradients, and can be used to mix colors like a paintbrush when mixed on acetate. They will create highlights by lifting color.
A unique use for the Blender is to transfer images. Images printed from a laser printer or copier will transfer onto wood, fabric, printing blocks, and more. The Blender can also create dreamy, watercolour-like effects when used over coloured pencil, graphite, or charcoal.
Designed for the artist, these xylene-based markers have a single nib that will produce three distinct line widths with a mere shift of the wrist. The unique nib shape gives the user precise control over each stroke.

A xylene marker’s properties are unlike all alcohol-based markers common to the marketplace, and while they are compatible with one another, they perform very differently. There is no mistaking the scent of a xylene marker, and for this reason, we always suggest using them in a well-ventilated area. Not recommended for use on Styrofoam.
