Chunghua Chinese Sumi Ink
Chunghua Chinese Sumi Ink, or “Zhonghua” Sumi-e Black Liquid Ink is an earthy warm black ink. It is made from selected carbon and gelatin of superior quality and has a fragrant scent. Use it for drawing, painting or calligraphy. It is ready to use straight of the bottle or diluted with water to create numerous lighter shades. Chinese ink can be used with a dip pen, bamboo brush, or bamboo pen. The ink will dry permanent. It is not re-soluble like calligraphy inks. Use it on dry paper for crisp details. Try it on wet paper for free-flowing, expressive marks and shapes.
