These grayish-blue natural charcoal sticks glide softly across paper, rub and smudge easily, and can be erased without difficulty and repeatedly overlaid. Compressed charcoal with soot and clay give the charcoal sticks their deep black colour and produce intense black marks. They are grease- and oil-free.
