Heinz Jordan Sabeline Brush Series 550 Round
Natural ox hair (dyed) and paired with synthetic filments combine to make a brush that is affordable and performs well for water media. Ox hair provides strength and durability because the filaments are stiffer than sable or squirrel but soft enough not to leave brush strokes. Ox hair is perferred for brush lettering, and applying gold sizing.
These are good brushes for painting with gouache, casin, tempera, chalk paints, and matte acrylics.
The round shape is used for drawing and blending with colour and the tips create a domed shape at the start of each mark. It is great for creating petals.
