Heinz Jordan Sabeline Wash Brush Series 530 Flat Wash
Natural ox hair (dyed) and paired with synthetic filments combine to make a brush that is affordable and performs well for water media. Ox hair provides strength and durability because the filaments are stiffer than sable or squirrel but soft enough not to leave brush strokes. Ox hair is perferred for brush lettering, and applying gold sizing.
These are excellent brushes for painting with gouache, casin, tempera, chalk paints, and matte acrylics.
The wash shape is wide and flat for even coverage over larger areas.
