Cotton paper handles heavy washes, and is the ultimate surface for wet-media. These Etchr Square Watercolour Sketchbooks are vegan friendly and use 115 lb (230 gsm) acid free, artist grade, Hot Press, 100% cotton paper. Each square format book has 52 pages of smooth Hot Press watercolor paper, a grey elastic band to hold the book closed, and a ribbon bookmark. These books open flat and the paper is ideal for watercolour, mixed media and urban sketching. The cover is a white cotton fabric and can be painted.

One thing to note with these sketchbooks is that the first two and last two pages are glued together on a thin strip near the book’s spine. These act as anchor points for the rest of the book, so whatever you do, don’t try to tear them apart! If you do, the cover may come off.
