This economical rice paper is a great choice for watercolour, printmaking, encaustic monoprinting, collage, paper craft, as well as Chinese painting and bookbinding. Rice papers, or Chinese paper, are handmade with methods dating back thousands of years. Because they are acid free, they are the ideal material for any kind of ink and colour. Mulberry paper has a unique absorbency, which allows for easy expression of shades, dark ink and colours.
Dan Xuan features a slight laid pattern. It is a great choice for encaustic monoprinting.
