Lamali Lokta Paper
Handmade and air dried in Nepal, the production of this decorative Lamali Lokta paper honors traditional Japanese papermaking techniques in the manner in which it is poured and air dried. This method of papermaking includes a direct relationship with the earth. This means that production is influenced by the elements, sometimes producing interesting variations. Lokta has long and luxurious fibers, giving the sheets their natural shine.

These decorative papers measure 20″ x 30″, are acid-free and feature four deckled edges. Paper designs are printed using silk-screening, woodblock and other printing techniques. A patterned surface for multi-media collage, bookmaking, framing, paper craft, gift wrapping or colorful photo backdrops and more.
Manufactured by hand in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal by a certified fair trade workshop. As the paper is handmade, small variations in color and thickness can occur.
