Awagami Masa Paper
Masa paper, often called affordable Hosho, is an acid-free, bright white, machine-made washi made of sulphite pulp. This economical washi features one very smooth side and a toothy side. It is useful for edition proofs and student projects. Awagami Masa is internally sized and should be slightly dampened before printing.
Masa paper has long proven suitable for drawing, printmaking, bookmaking, paper crafts, and much more. It is a versatile budget-priced washi, excellent for students and professionals alike. The machine-made washi has one smooth side and one slightly textured side. Use either side to achieve different effects. This paper is acid-free and 88 gsm with cut edges.
