Kurotani #16 Small Washi
Kurotani #16 is a handmade, unsized kozo washi paper with 4 Deckled edges, 21.5″ x 29.25″, 25 g. This paper is fiber sunlight and mountain stream bleached, cooked in soda ash, and dried on stainless steel. Handmade in Kurotani, the oldest continuous papermaking village in Japan where they have been making paper for over 800 years. A fine, strong, evenly-formed sheet ideal for hinging, conservation and repair of all kinds, intaglio printmaking, shifu and more.
