Description
Robert Bateman Sketchbook
The Robert Bateman sketchbook is a sturdy, side-coil bound sketchbook containing 50 sheets of acid free and 100% recycled paper. The bright white 110 lb paper holds up well under a wide variety of drawing media, and is perfect for ink drawings as the ink will not bleed through or spread. It holds up to aggressive erasing, and can handle light washes of tempera, acrylic, and watercolour.
Robert Bateman says….“The interesting thing about a sketchbook is that you never know what will appear on the next page. The books provide a place for exploration into many ideas as they occur, such as my goat on the cover. Sketchbook drawings are intended as unfinished work.”
“As years go by, my sketchbooks have become valuable as visual diaries. They are a record of what I see and think artistically, every day. I always have a sketchbook going. Your choice to use recycled paper, nurtures our environment. Proceeds from the sale of these recycled sketchbooks help support World Wildlife Fund.”
These books are made in Canada.
