Strathmore 400 Bristol Creative Cards
These heavy weight cards are made from our high quality 400 Series Bristol Smooth paper. The surface is perfect for pen & ink, mechanical pencil, airbrush, and markers. There is little to no tooth, making it easy to create fine lines, detail drawings, or marker drawings. All cards comes with accompanying envelopes with a unique, beautiful deckle edge.
What is Bristol Paper?
Bristol generally describes a heavyweight drawing paper. Bristol sheets provide a stiff, strong surface to work on without the need for mounting. The term Bristol derives from the early days of European papermaking when mills would send their finest papers to Bristol, England to be pasted together to form heavyweight drawing sheets.
Announcement Size Bristol Cards
This small, 3.5″ x 4.875″ card is ideally suited for formal announcements, gift enclosures, invitations, change of address and thank you notes. Announcement Size envelopes are 3.625″ x 5.125″.
Full Size Bristol Cards
These larger size 5″ x 6.875″ cards can be used to design a greeting for any occasion from birthdays, holidays and invitations to general correspondence. Full Size envelopes are 5.25″ x 7.25″. Available in packs of 6 or 50.
