Golden High Solid Gel Matte
Golden High Solid Gel is similar to Extra Heavy Gels, but contains less water and more acrylic solids. Therefore, they shrink less than other gels. This High Solid Gel Matte is non-shiny and may dull colors slightly, due to the addition of matting agents. These heavy gels blend well with acrylic colors and will retain brush strokes upon drying. High Solid Gel is also available in a gloss finish here.
Golden Gel Mediums offer many ways to build texture. They are used to create glazes, extend paint and change finishes. Gels are essentially colorless acrylic paint, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paint. Gels are also excellent adhesives for collage and mixed media. They dry with excellent flexibility with chemical, water and UV resistance.
Golden offers five gel consistencies, from the most viscous High Solid Gel to the thinnest Soft Gel. Each gel is available in Gloss, Semi-Gloss and Matte finishes. High Solid Gel is only available in Gloss and Matte finishes.
